Seeing from the train down that Cornwall was pretty much part of the Atlantic now and with the weather experts promising more storms I wasn’t optimistic about about surviving a day at St Ives without getting drenched. However, as soon as the train pulled in to the little station the sun came out, and stayed out, for the day. St Ives; with its art galleries, blue seas, quaint streets and beaches is beautiful at all times but especially so when bathed in sunshine. The food is always delicious with loads of restaurants to choose from and despite not winning big in the arcade I can’t wait to go back in the summer. I can’t imagine that there is a better place in the world to buy clotted cream fudge either!
